Tracking a Venezuelan-affiliated Vessel Reportedly Pursued by American Maritime Authorities

A uniquely yellow-colored residential building in the background helped us verify the video.
We are analyzing video footage and photographs shared this morning that depict the scene of a reported vehicle-borne explosive blast that Russian officials state fatally injured a senior soldier in Moscow.
Officials in Russia confirmed that Lt Gen Fanil Sarvarov was inside the vehicle that exploded and that he later died to his injuries. An investigation is under way.
Our starting point to check the site from which the images were from was based on social media reports saying the blast occurred on Yasenevaya Ulitsa in the southern district of the capital city of Russia.
Our analysis employed street-view imagery on digital map platforms and the Russian search engine Yandex Maps to corroborate the unique yellow colour of a adjacent residential complex seen in the footage.
Locating other structures, lamp-posts and the road configuration verified the exact location the pictures were taken.
Additionally, we verified that the video clips were new and that the images had not undergone digital alteration.
