Star Refutes Anti-Vaxxer Position Following Voicing Controversial Coronavirus Feature

The "Taken" star has given his narration to a new documentary that challenges the legitimacy of vaccinations and commends ex- cabinet secretary Robert F Kennedy Jr.

The Film's Disputed Origins

Named "Plague of Corruption," the project is based on a well-known publication written by Judy Mikovits, who became famous during the global outbreak for claims that the virus was linked to a bad strain of the influenza shot.

Her writing partner, the executive producer, has also written books with far-right figure Alex Jones. He recently posted praising Neeson's participation in the film.

A Firm Statement

The team of the actor have released a comment pushing back against implications that he supports anti-vaccine sentiments.

"Many understand that unethical practices may occur within the medical sector, but that should never be equated to rejection of vaccines," the comment states. "He is not, and remains not, against vaccines. His considerable work with Unicef underscores his long-held support for worldwide vaccination initiatives."

The response noted that the performer did not shape the documentary's editorial content and that questions about its claims should be directed to the producers.

Central Assertions Within the Film

In the film, the narration spoken by Neeson makes several provocative statements:

  • It states that pro-vaccine voices have insisted on "unconditional submission" to government bodies.
  • It argues that "medical science has become dangerously politicised."
  • Kennedy is featured saying, "The big problem with vaccines is that they are not adequately tested."
  • It also criticizes Covid lockdowns, saying they caused severe distress that led to the loss of thousands of lives.
  • Concerning the immunizations, it references a view that they were "hurriedly approved" and seen as "hazardous tests."

Historical Controversy and Recent Issues

It also references a historical film about HIV drug testing on children, which was subsequently the subject of a BBC apology by the network for violations of guidelines.

Last month, RFK Jr instructed the CDC to revise its long-held position that there is no link between immunizations and autism spectrum disorder. This assertion is also referenced in the documentary, despite a recent study from the global health body stating no connection has been found.

A Past Record of Support

Standing in contrast to the film's narrative, Neeson has in the past shown strong support for vaccines in his capacity as a Unicef global ambassador.

In 2022, he called vaccines as "a remarkable achievement," stating that "The debate about vaccines in lately has forgotten how much good they have done... It is perhaps one of the biggest collective achievements in history."

The documentary ends with Neeson's script stating, "This isn't the conclusion of our story. It is the beginning of a new chapter."
